Amber Heard Is Expecting Her 2nd Baby

Amber Heard is expecting her second baby.

People was first to reveal the news on Thursday, December 5, with a rep for the 38-year-old actress telling the publication that it’s “still quite early” in the pregnancy.

“You will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage,” the statement continued. “Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige.”

Heard became a mom when she welcomed daughter Oonagh Paige, 3, via surrogate in April 2021. She announced the news in an Instagram post months later.

“Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms,” the actress shared in July 2021. “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib. A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this.”

Heard, who was previously married to Johnny Depp, said that welcoming her daughter was “the beginning of the rest of my life” in the caption.

Heard has shared rare moments with her daughter on social media over the years. This past January, she offered an inside look at her life as a working mom when posting a picture of Oonagh on the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom set.

“After all this time, Aquaman 2 made its splash (sorry, it’s too easy),” she captioned the post at the time. “Thank you to all of my fans for the overwhelming support and love in Mera’s AQ return. Thank you so much #aquaman.”

In the image, Heard could be seen smiling as she fed Oonagh — who was smiling back — with a bottle.

Prior to the behind-the-scenes set photo, Heard posted a birthday message to her little one in April 2022.

“My little O is a year old today. I still can’t believe you’re here,” she wrote alongside a photo of her daughter with balloons. “The greatest year.”
