The country industry has something new to sing about when the 58th Annual Country Music Association Awards are handed out.
This year’s award show will take place on Wednesday, November 20, hosted once again by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning. This year they will also be joined by Lainey Wilson.
“I could not be more excited to host the CMA Awards this year with Luke and Peyton,” Wilson said in a press release. “It’s such an incredible honor and something I’ve always dreamed of doing. We’re planning a really great show for y’all, so make sure to watch on November 20!”
While the 2024 CMAs will be the first time Wilson emceed the broadcast, she took home five trophies last year including Entertainer of the Year.

“This is all I’ve ever wanted to do. It’s the only thing I know how to do,” she said in her November 2023 acceptance speech. “We have played — I think at the end of the year, we have played about 186 shows this year, and we’ve worked our butts off this year and so many years in between. I’ve been in this town for 12 and a half years, and it finally feels like country music is starting to love me back. I love it with my whole heart.”

Who Is Hosting the 2024 CMAs?
Wilson joins fellow country star Bryan and NFL alum Manning as the hosts of the awards show.
“The past two years have been a lot of fun, and I know Lainey is going to bring a special flare,” Manning said in a statement. “Hopefully she can help me keep Luke in line! Either way, I’m excited for an incredible night of celebration and country music.”

Who Is Nominated at the 2024 CMAs?
The biggest names in country music received CMA nods, including Wilson, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, who are all up for Entertainer of the Year.
Wallen leads the pack with seven nominations, followed by Cody Johnson and Stapleton each with five. Wilson and Post Malone, meanwhile, each scored four nominations. First-time honorees include Shaboozey, Nate Smith, Bailey Zimmerman and Noah Kahan. For a full list, click here.

George Strait Will Receive a Lifetime Achievement Award
Strait will take home the 2024 CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.
“There have been few other artists as authentically Texas and authentically Country as George Strait, and Country Music fans all over the world have been better for it,” CMA CEO Sarah Trahern said in a statement. “As a three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year and the most nominated artist of all time, he serves as an inspiration and icon to many of the great, new artists we know today. I am thrilled we are awarding him with this deserving honor next month.”
