Kristin Cavallari knows that life is too short to stay in a relationship that’s not working.
“Where I’m at in my life, if I feel one thing is wrong, is missing, I’m not wasting my time or my energy on someone,” Cavallari, 37, said during the Tuesday, November 19, episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast.
The Hills alum admitted that she’s “very quick to end things” when a romance doesn’t feel right to her.
“Even sometimes my friends are like, ‘Jesus. OK,’” she said, referring to her approach to dating. “Like, there’s no chill. I’m like, ‘No, this isn’t working for me.’”

While Cavallari’s friends have advised her to “slowly pull away” rather than ending a relationship abruptly, she sees that method as “playing a game” she has no interest in playing.
“I’d rather just be an adult and have an adult conversation, and be like, ‘Hey, here’s where I’m at,’ and just end things,” she said. “So that’s done. And I do think if the right person came along, I would be ready to date, but I’m not actively looking to date right now.”
The insight into Cavallari’s dating life comes after her friend and longtime hair stylist, Justin Anderson, revealed a juicy tidbit of her romantic history in a Sunday, November 17, Instagram video.
“Suspect’s hottest hookup, that she’s never told anybody about, was with Jason Statham,” Anderson said in the clip, prompting Cavallari to cover her mouth and say, “Oh, my God.”

A source subsequently told Us Weekly that Cavallari and Statham, 57, had a “full-on relationship” that lasted six months when Cavallari was in her 20s. Us reached out to Statham for comment.
While Cavallari’s romance with Statham is part of her past, she more recently dated TikToker Mark Estes for seven months. After their September split, Cavallari said she ended the relationship “because I just know long-term it’s not right.”
“It’s not because of love lost or something bad happened. No one cheated. No one was mean. No one did anything,” she emphasized during an October episode of her podcast. “Those breakups are always the hardest, I think, because it’s almost easier if the guy does something that makes you hate him.”
Cavallari added that Estes, 24, “needs to experience life” as he is still in his “formative years.”

Although her relationship with Estes didn’t work out, Cavallari noted, “I don’t regret going public with him [and] I don’t regret introducing him to my kids.”
The podcaster shares sons Camden, 12, and Jaxon, 10, and daughter Saylor, 8, with ex-husband Jay Cutler. She previously said during an April episode of “Let’s Be Honest” that she was open to the possibility of expanding her family with Estes.
“The one thing that — I’m not actively thinking about it, but it’s definitely on the back of my mind — is, you know, he wants to have a kid. So, you know, I’m mulling it over,” Cavallari said. “If he ends up really being The One, like, I would have a kid.”
While discussing the twosome’s split during an October episode, Cavallari said she didn’t want to “rob” Estes of having children.
