Aunt Taylor Swift is never too busy to think of Chariah Gordon and Mecole Hardman Jr.’s kids.
While in Europe for her Eras Tour, Swift, 34, sent a gift to Gordon’s daughter. “It’s so freaking cute and so thoughtful,” Gordon, 29, told Glamour in an interview published on Monday, November 18. “In between shows … was keeping my kids super near.”
Gordon, who is engaged to Kansas City Chiefs’ wide receiver Hardman Jr., has been spotted cheering for the NFL team alongside Swift since the superstar went public with tight end Travis Kelce. While watching a game on November 10, Swift cuddled Gordon and Hardman Jr.’s daughter, Cianna.
“Auntie Tay & Baby Ci,” Gordon captioned her Instagram Story at the time. (Gordon and Hardman Jr., who announced their engagement in June, also share 21-month-old Mecole Hardman III.)
While speaking with Glamour on Monday, Gordon gushed over her connection with Swift. “I actually got a chance to meet her at Trav’s house and she was just super, super sweet,” she said. “And since then we’ve been super cool. I call her my sis. That’s my sis.”
Gordon noted that Swift doesn’t act like an A-list celebrity. “She’s just really a sweet, down-to-earth girl. I forgot that she was even Taylor Swift, that’s how she makes you feel,” Gordon said. “I wasn’t saying, ‘Oh my God, this is Taylor.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, this is one of my home girls from back home.’ That’s how I felt. So I love it. She makes it.”
Swift’s bonding with fellow women in Kansas City began after she made her debut at a Chiefs game in September 2023. One month later, Swift was seen planting a kiss on Kelce’s cheek while standing beside Gordon and Hardman Jr.
Swift has since attended several more matchups at Arrowhead Stadium, and cheered for the team at the Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas earlier this year.

“Football is awesome, it turns out,” Swift told TIME in her 2023 Person of the Year cover story. “I’ve been missing out my whole life.”
As Swift continues to be by Kelce’s side at his NFL games, he has returned the favor by traveling across the world for her Eras Tour shows.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she told the outlet. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
