Violent arrest leaves Georgian politician unconscious

Opposition leader Nika Gvaramia was carried away, apparently unconscious, after a violent confrontation with police in Georgia’s capital city Tbilisi. The former Soviet country has recently been rocked by mass protests after the government suspended talks on joining the European Union.
