Watch Pete Davidson’s Surprise 'SNL' Return With Pal John Mulaney

As John Mulaney hosted Saturday Night Live for the sixth time, he had a very special cameo up his sleeve in pal (and former cast member) Pete Davidson.

Mulaney, 42, and Davidson, 30, teamed up for the “Port Authority Duane Reade” sketch during the Saturday, November 2, episode, alongside current SNL player Andrew Dismukes.

The skit, a follow-up from one Mulaney previously helmed for the show, saw the episodic host play an employee at NYC convenience store Duane Reade. Davidson and Dismukes, 29, meanwhile, portrayed customers.

“Welcome to the Duane Reade inside the Port Authority bus terminal,” Mulaney said. “May I offer you a flu shot?”

Davidson, sporting a buzz cut, stated that he didn’t need a vaccine but only needed “a couple of things” before they hopped on a bus to Boston.

“Well, our system is down right now, so we are only accepting cash or sex,” Mulaney said.

It wasn’t a problem for Davidson, who had cash ready in his wallet. After Dismukes asked for a cell phone cable, Davidson wanted to get some milk.

“I’m sorry?” Mulaney said. “You mean the gallon of milk surrounded by cans of twisted iced tea in the fridge that’s hotter than the rest of the store?”

Davidson, however, defended his shopping plans, joking that he didn’t want to make a “separate stop” in Boston.

“Plus, look, it says ‘organic,’” Davidson proclaimed, before being reminded that it actually said “organ” on the label. “What’s the big deal? Milk is milk, right?”

Mulaney replied, “Sure it is. Say you want the milk, then it shall be yours just as the prophecy foretold.”

The camera then panned to SNL cast members Kenan Thompson and Ego Nwodim, dressed as possums in Lion King-inspired costumes, to sing about the lore of purchasing milk from the Port Authority shop.

“From the moment she gave birth in a backpack / Her dozen nipples began to excrete,” they sang, parodying “Circle of Life” from the musical. “But there was more to see than can ever unsee / A plastic jug filled with goop from her teat. It’s milk from my wife / And it feeds a soul! Have some milk for the bus / It gives you strength to grow.”

After the musical interlude, Davidson and Dismukes received an impromptu tour of the facility.

“Oh, they’re still doing everything at Port Authority,” Mulaney quipped. “All under the watchful gaze of a full soldier with his finger on the trigger of an assault rifle. … Here you go, Pete, here’s your bus milk.”

Saturday Night Live airs on NBC Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET.
