With the holiday season around the corner, Us can’t help but wonder how our favorite celebrity couples will be celebrating — especially Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Swift, 34, and Kelce, 35, have been going strong since debuting their romance in September 2023, spending as much time together as they can amid their busy schedules. As the year comes to an end, so will Swift’s Eras Tour, and she’s looking forward to having more downtime with her boyfriend.
“Taylor and Travis are very committed and serious about their future,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in September. “Taylor is ready for the next era of her life. She knows it will be special.”
The couple have had “serious conversations” about their next chapter, per the insider. “Taylor has expressed how excited she is to settle down after her tour concludes. They’re on the same page,” the source told Us.
Chiefs NFL Schedule Breakdown: How Many Games Can Taylor Swift Attend?
Fans are hopeful that the stars will align for Swift and Kelce to spend the holidays together, starting with Thanksgiving — and Us is breaking down all the possible evidence pointing toward a cozy Turkey Day for the couple. Scroll below for everything we know so far:
Donna Kelce’s Easter Egg
During a recent appearance on the Today show, Travis’ mom gave some insight into how the family will be spending Thanksgiving. When asked whether Swift would join in on the festivities, Donna replied, “She’s kind of busy right now. She still has her tour to do.”
Which leads Us to …
The ‘Eras’ Schedule
Swift completes her six nights in Toronto on November 23 and starts her final three Eras performances in Vancouver on December 6. The break gives the pop star plenty of time to celebrate Thanksgiving with her loved ones, including parents Andrea and Scott and brother Austin.
Thanksgiving Games
The Kansas City Chiefs have two games around the Thanksgiving holiday. Travis and his teammates will play the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on November 24 — a tight turnaround for Taylor to make an appearance, but nothing she hasn’t accomplished before. (None of Us can forget when she told Travis “jet lag is a choice” after traveling from Japan in February to see the Chiefs win the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.)
Less than one week after playing the Panthers, the Chiefs take on the Las Vegas Raiders at home on November 29, a.k.a. Black Friday. Chiefs Kingdom has a shot at redemption after losing to the Raiders on Christmas Day last year with Swift and her family watching.
While Swift’s Thanksgiving plans are up in the air, Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, hinted that the family will likely get together in Kansas City for the November 29 game. During an episode of their “New Heights” podcast in September, Travis revealed his love for The Traitors — and Jason suggested they try their own version around the holidays.
“We’re all going to KC for Thanksgiving,” Jason teased. “After the game, we can play Mafia.” (Travis said he would only be in the mood if the Chiefs walk away with a victory.)
What Happened Last Year?
During a November 2023 episode of “New Heights,” Travis noted he was celebrating solo. “I’ll be feasting on KFC because I won’t have anybody here,” he said.
Swift was in Brazil during Thanksgiving last year, performing in São Paulo from November 24 to November 26 after three Eras shows in Rio de Janeiro.
