Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) has launched a long-awaited feature for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members, allowing them to stream select games they already own via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
This long-in-development addition has been a goal since 2019, but its rollout faced delays due to the challenge of preparing infrastructure for thousands of titles.
A Promising Start, But Limited Scope
As of today, only 50 games are compatible with the feature, the company announced in a blog post. Despite the modest start, the lineup includes high-profile blockbusters like Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Star Wars Outlaws, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, alongside beloved indie titles like Dredge, Phasmophobia, and The Plucky Squire.
